An ode to an old man
Oh Old man,
you have grown old
Physically you feel it
But mentally you feel young
Although the silver of hair peeking out from the side
reminds you of the age.
Nevertheless you shoulder on
See the world go past by
You ponder the past
Then think its the same
Yes its the same
Life is a full circle.
You feel the organs wither away
And you cry silently
Silently in the darkness you cry
Away from the crowds and away from noise.
And in silence you realize
You realize fighting reality is futile.
And Acceptance settles in.
With that a smile lights up your face
With memories of the past brightening up your thoughts.
And in happiness, your mind jumps in joy
as the thoughts of the past come gushing in.
You feel relieved. You are ready.
